Sarah is a pastor and leader who is committed to leveraging her life for the cause of Jesus. Sarah is passionate about encouraging the church and equipping its leaders, so that the world can encounter Jesus in a personal way.

Sarah has over twenty years experience of pastoring and leading in diverse contexts such as the UK, Southern California and New York City, where she and her husband planted a thriving church that is still making a powerful impact today.

She now serves as lead pastor at Hope Chapel in the Kansas City metro and also leads Kindreds - a gathering of women who believes there is more beauty in sameness than division in differences. Whether she is preaching at home or speaking elsewhere around the world she is a voice of hope, imploring others as Jesus did to “take heart!”

Believing in the value of female leadership, Sarah is committed to not just be a female preaching and teaching voice, but to intentionally help to raise up the next generation of pastors and leaders. This vision is largely being fulfilled through an organization she co-founded called, Trellis which seeks to educate, equip and empower the next generation of church leaders, pastors and church planters.

Holding a masters in mental health counseling, Sarah is also passionate about the integration of emotional and spiritual health and regularly incorporates this into her teaching and leadership. She is currently completing her Doctorate of Ministry at Wheaton College.

Sarah is married to Jake and is the mother of two of the best kids around - Caleb and Gracie.
